Summary: Choose to preload some files if options.max_open_files != -1. This can slightly narrow the gap of performance between options.max_open_files is -1 and a large number. To avoid a significant regression to DB reopen speed if options.max_open_files != -1. Limit the files to preload in DB open time to 16.
