Peter Dillinger bda8d93ba9 Fix and detect headers with missing dependencies (#8893)
Summary:
It's always annoying to find a header does not include its own
dependencies and only works when included after other includes. This
change adds `make check-headers` which validates that each header can
be included at the top of a file. Some headers are excluded e.g. because
of platform or external dependencies.

rocksdb_namespace.h had to be re-worked slightly to enable checking for
failure to include it. (ROCKSDB_NAMESPACE is a valid namespace name.)

Fixes mostly involve adding and cleaning up #includes, but for
FileTraceWriter, a constructor was out-of-lined to make a forward
declaration sufficient.

This check is not currently run with `make check` but is added to
CircleCI build-linux-unity since that one is already relatively fast.

mrambacher d5bd0039b9 Rename ImmutableOptions variables (#8409)
Summary:
This is the next part of the ImmutableOptions cleanup. After changing the use of ImmutableCFOptions to ImmutableOptions, there were places in the code that had did something like "ImmutableOptions* immutable_cf_options", where "cf" referred to the "old" type.

This change simply renames the variables to match the current type. No new functionality is introduced.

mrambacher 8948dc8524 Make ImmutableOptions struct that inherits from ImmutableCFOptions and ImmutableDBOptions (#8262)
Summary:
The ImmutableCFOptions contained a bunch of fields that belonged to the ImmutableDBOptions. This change cleans that up by introducing an ImmutableOptions struct. Following the pattern of Options struct, this class inherits from the DB and CFOption structs (of the Immutable form).

Only one structural change (the ImmutableCFOptions::fs was changed to a shared_ptr from a raw one) is in this PR. All of the other changes involve moving the member variables from the ImmutableCFOptions into the ImmutableOptions and changing member variables or function parameters as required for compilation purposes.

Follow-on PRs may do a further clean-up of the code, such as renaming variables (such as "ImmutableOptions cf_options") and potentially eliminating un-needed function parameters (there is no longer a need to pass both an ImmutableDBOptions and an ImmutableOptions to a function).

Levi Tamasi a00ddf1574 Expose the set of live blob files from Version/VersionSet (#6785)
Summary:
The patch adds logic that returns the set of live blob files from
`Version::AddLiveFiles` and `VersionSet::AddLiveFiles` (in addition to
live table files), and also cleans up the code a bit, for example, by
exposing only the numbers of table files as opposed to the earlier
`FileDescriptor`s that no clients used. Moreover, the patch extends
the `GetLiveFiles` API so that it also exposes blob files in the current version.
Similarly to https://github.com/facebook/rocksdb/pull/6755,

Levi Tamasi fe238e5438 Keep track of obsolete blob files in VersionSet (#6755)
Summary:
The patch adds logic to keep track of obsolete blob files. A blob file becomes
obsolete when the last `shared_ptr` that points to the corresponding
`SharedBlobFileMetaData` object goes away, which, in turn, happens when the
last `Version` that contains the blob file is destroyed. No longer needed blob
files are added to the obsolete list in `VersionSet` using a custom deleter to
avoid unnecessary coupling between `SharedBlobFileMetaData` and `VersionSet`.
Obsolete blob files are returned by `VersionSet::GetObsoleteFiles` and stored
in `JobContext`.

Yi Wu 5d4fddfa52 WritePrepared: Fix visible key compacted out by compaction (#4883)
Summary:
With WritePrepared transaction, flush/compaction can contain uncommitted keys, and those keys can get committed during compaction. If a snapshot is taken before the key is committed, it should not see the key. On the other hand, compaction grab the list of snapshots at its beginning, and only consider those snapshots to dedup keys. Consider the case:
```
seq = 1: put "foo" = "bar"
seq = 2: transaction T: delete "foo", prepare
seq = 3: compaction start
seq = 4: take snapshot S
seq = 5: transaction T: commit.
...
seq = N: compaction iterator reached key "foo".
```
When compaction start, the list of snapshot is empty. Compaction doesn't take snapshot S into account. When it reached "foo", transaction T is committed. Compaction may think the value "foo=bar" is not visible by any snapshot (which is wrong), and compact the value out.

The fix is to explicitly take a snapshot before compaction grabbing the list of snapshots. Compaction will then has to keep keys visible to this snapshot.

Yanqin Jin 1f802773bc Update JobContext. (#3949)
Summary:
In the past, we assume that a job modifies a single column family. Therefore, a job can create at most one superversion since each superversion corresponds to one column family. This assumption leads to the fact that a `JobContext` has only one member variable called `superversion_context`.
Now we want to support group flush of column families, indicating that each job can create multiple superversions. Therefore, we need to make the following change to accommodate this new feature.

Add a vector of `SuperVersionContext` to `JobContext` to support installing
superversions for multiple column families in one job context.

This PR is a subset of [PR 3752](https://github.com/facebook/rocksdb/pull/3752).

Phani Shekhar Mantripragada 446b32cfc3 Support for Column family specific paths.
Summary:
In this change, an option to set different paths for different column families is added.
This option is set via cf_paths setting of ColumnFamilyOptions. This option will work in a similar fashion to db_paths setting. Cf_paths is a vector of Dbpath values which contains a pair of the absolute path and target size. Multiple levels in a Column family can go to different paths if cf_paths has more than one path.
To maintain backward compatibility, if cf_paths is not specified for a column family, db_paths setting will be used. Note that, if db_paths setting is also not specified, RocksDB already has code to use db_name as the only path.

Changes :
1) A new member "cf_paths" is added to ImmutableCfOptions. This is set, based on cf_paths setting of ColumnFamilyOptions and db_paths setting of ImmutableDbOptions. This member is used to identify the path information whenever files are accessed.
2) Validation checks are added for cf_paths setting based on existing checks for db_paths setting.
3) DestroyDB, PurgeObsoleteFiles etc. are edited to support multiple cf_paths.
4) Unit tests are added appropriately.

Igor Canadi 0acc738810 Speed up FindObsoleteFiles()
Summary:
There are two versions of FindObsoleteFiles():
* full scan, which is executed every 6 hours (and it's terribly slow)
* no full scan, which is executed every time a background process finishes and iterator is deleted

This diff is optimizing the second case (no full scan). Here's what we do before the diff:
* Get the list of obsolete files (files with ref==0). Some files in obsolete_files set might actually be live.
* Get the list of live files to avoid deleting files that are live.
* Delete files that are in obsolete_files and not in live_files.

After this diff:
* The only files with ref==0 that are still live are files that have been part of move compaction. Don't include moved files in obsolete_files.
* Get the list of obsolete files (which exclude moved files).
* No need to get the list of live files, since all files in obsolete_files need to be deleted.

I'll post the benchmark results, but you can get the feel of it here: https://reviews.facebook.net/D30123

This depends on D30123.

P.S. We should do full scan only in failure scenarios, not every 6 hours. I'll do this in a follow-up diff.

Test Plan:
One new unit test. Made sure that unit test fails if we don't have a `if (!f->moved)` safeguard in ~Version.
